Nannynix became the person she is today as a result of the union of and upbringing by Edward & Irene Knotts. My parents passionately loved all ten of their children........ two siblings died during infancy......... My beloved parents are in heaven now still watching over their remaining brood of five. We five still "march" to their "drumbeat". Words of wisdom from "ED' and "IRENE" still control our behavior. We all could write a book about the kind of "parenting" we received. Such positive role models those two were!........and still are !!!!!!

I was very fortunate to be raised in an enviorment of educators. I'm proud of my educational and career accomplishments. I retired in February 1998 after thirty-two years of teaching and supervision on the elementary school level.

I'm the proud mother of one child, Kimberly 38. She has blessed me with two wonderful grandsons Richard 10 and Christopher 7.

Now I find myself still teaching by tutoring my grandsons who are "enthusiactic" learners.
