Jerome Charles Hendrickson Francis Feeley Paul Johnson Gary Mosley Edward Cashman Judith Wright Helen Hackbert Marjorie Bennet Gordon D. Ramey Bruce Rinebarger ![]() I just wanted to notify you of the passing of my
husband of 52 years, Bruce Rinebarger. He was born in Winamac, IN, but was
raised and attended schools in Milwaukee, WI. We were married there in
1957.
He served 4 years in the Navy, graduated from
Milwaukee School of Engineering & was hired by Sundstrand Aviation in
Rockford in 1958 & worked there 13 years. In 1971 he was
transferred to the Hydro-transmission Division in Ames, Iowa for 11 years and
returned to the Rockford plant in 1982. He retired in 1991, and
we moved to Fountain Hills, AZ.
Some of the projects Bruce worked on were the
A3J, F8U2N, 727 starter drive, LVTPX12 steer systems, the DMT truck transmission
group, ADS75, and the SR71 Blackbird for Lockheed. He loved the Blackbird
project and was disappointed when it was retired.
Bruce's hobbies were golf, target shooting,
camping, kayaking, travel and helping others. He volunteered at
our church as an usher and local senior
center delivering Meals on Wheels and repairing wheelchairs and other durable
medical equipment. He held several part-time jobs after
retirement.
We traveled in our motor home for many years until
he had a heart attack and bypass surgery in 1997 followed by 2 strokes and
ultimately developed dementia. Bruce remained active until 2 years ago
when he suffered a third heart attack.
We are the parents of three children and six
grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by our family and all who knew
him.
Sincerely, Pat Rinebarger | Information

Harriet Brown is sponsoring a "Contesting & the Church" luncheon at Alpine on Saturday, September 12. It is a fundraiser for the pastor's Good Samaritan Fund. Tickets are on sale for $10 ($5 for children). Both men and women are invited to sign up on the poster in the narthex.
A craft and bakery sale will precede the 12 o'clock lunch. Call Sharon Walker for information if you wish to participate. 547-7472.
Over 25 years ago Harriet wrote a book, "The Winning Road" and soon after was interviewed by Oprah (in Baltimore and Chicago), Gary Collins, and PM Magazine. A 30-minute video of her appearances will be shown at the luncheon. Harriet will also highlight a few of her prizes that have directly affected the church. A short Q&A session will follow as well as a drawing for door prizes.
Lunch will consist of a 3-tier sandwich and chips, beverage, an Edy's ice cream sundae and "Oreo" cookies.
Call Harriet 399-8494 or the church office 399-5013 for luncheon tickets.
Warren is a show off !!!! (see pics of new great grand baby) click this Funny - everyone needs a smile!! >> >> >> >> This Ad Was Posted to Craig's List.com >> >> List / Personals: >> To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last.. Date: 05-27-09, 1:43 A M EST. I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message. >> >> First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason. My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 A CP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head wasn't it? I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from bare footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again]. >> >> After I called your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as four other people's in the gas station on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's , along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!] I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car. >> >> Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.). In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you've chosen to pursue in life. >> >> Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.. Have a good day! >> >> Thoughtfully yours, >> Alex >> |
